The plot centers around a newly moved Georgia couple and their daughter, who begins to see "strangers" that are visible only to the mother, daughter, and mother's sister. It is explained that the mother's side of the family had the ability to see the dead all through the generations. The couple is then drawn into a mystery regarding the true origins of the hauntings. A station master in the underground railroad, who aided escaped slaves to freedom, was also a taxidermist, who locked 5 prisoners underground to do his experiments. The prisoners were some of the escaped slaves. He left them in the underground shelter to starve, then would stuff their bodies. Part 2
